Pillow for 2 yr old

How do I know if my 2 yo is ready for a pillow?

She sleeps in her crib that we converted to a toddler day bed, but we have a guard rail up and numbers too.

Thoughts?

Have you tried asking her? My 3 year old ds talked a big talk about wanting a pillow, then we got him one and he decided he doesn't want it.

we gave my 2.5 yo a toddler pillow from PBK and he likes the idea of it but never sleeps on it and we generally take it out of his bed before we go to sleep. i would just get one and try but i think we think of pillows as something amazing and kids could care less lol.

Try it. I have dd1 a pillow about 2.5. She didn't like it at first. After a week or two she loved it.

DD1 is 2.5 and is still in a crib at home but at my moms, she sleeps on a cushion and uses a pillow and has been for about 6 months at least. A couple of weeks ago we were in BRU and they had pillows and she said she had one at grandmas so I asked if she wanted one for home and she said yes. She goes to sleep laying on it but ends up on the other side of her crib many nights.

Is she interested in lying on one when she's on your bed, for example? My daughter got SO excited when she was in her brother's bed, so I gave her a pillow of her own. About a month ago, I think. She's 16mo.

DS got a pillow around 18mo when he was sick and needed the incline.
