When did your child stop using a potty seat?
My 4yo is in preK and they only have a regular seat. Just wondering if my kid is really the only one who is not comfortable with that yet? At home we have the built in insert so she always uses that.

When did your child stop using a potty seat?
My 4 year old DS still uses the potty seat too. I think my older son dropped it around 5.

DS used it till he was about 6. DD never used it, she was more comfortable just using the regular seat and a little stepstool for her feet.

DS is 3.5+yo and I can't remember when he stopped using it, but it was a long time ago. I want to say a few months after he turned 3.
ETA: Why can't you just send a seat to school? I pretty sure it's a violation for the school to provide them and children to share. We had to send our own into day care.

around 3 because his preschool didn't have potty seats other. Plus he was getting to big for the seat and peeing all over the place

DD stopped using a potty seat a little before she turned 3. We have the insert on our toilets at home and she uses those but she doesn't use anything when we are out or not at home.

Thanks for the responses. We're practicing and she's doing okay but she doesn't like letting go to grab the toilet paper and all that.

When did your child stop using a potty seat?
A little before she turned 4. But we have step stools at home so she feels secure. Her prek has a lower toilet so it's not an issue there. Mine still needs to be "held" while peeing if her feet can't reach the ground.
Does the school have step atools? We toured one where it was a regular toilet and they explained they had stools for the kids.

She never uses the potty seat exclusively. She is 2.5.

My DD is 3, soon-to-be 4, and has recently started saying she doesn't need her potty seat anymore and has been using the big seat.
We have the one that's built in to the toilet seat and you just pull it down. I'd say she uses it only half the time now.
