More progesterone questions

Got new blood results and progesterone was a 14.5. Still not super high, but my Dr isn't worried and wouldn't usually give progesterone at my result of 12 either. ..

So, does anyone know if I can stop after taking it for 3 days? Or do I need to keep it up now that I've started?

I have only been able to speak to a nurse and the nurse says it's ok to stop. But, a nurse also told me my blood progesterone level would rise from the suppository and I don't think that's true.

I kind of want to stop because I feel awful on them - achey, headaches, bloated, nauseous, but I'm also afraid to stop and some Drs lIke to use it for less than 15...

Re: More progesterone questions

I personally would stay on them. Better safe than sorry.

Re: More progesterone questions

once you start you should really stay on them for 10-12 weeks. I felt safer taking them and was terrified to get off of them.

Yes, and I'm wondering if even Drs have much experience with people stopping right after starting, so Idk if anyone would know the safety. I'm worried maybe I signaled something in my body and it would be bad to stop. Wish I had a high risk Dr to ask...my main Dr doesn't seem to think I should stay on it (my impression from convo with nurse), but the nurse said I could stop or wait for my appointment later in the week to discuss...

I would absolutely 100% keep taking them. You progesterone can't be too high- only too low. No harm in taking them.
