i heard about this AMAZING charity because of LIF and i am here to sing their praises as loud as i can.
they are an awesome group of people who do all they can for all our vets.
in light of the recent news about wounded warriors, please don't turn your back on this charity.
yes, my charity money has shifted since DS became a marine. so i understand if you want to take my post with a grain of salt. but from what i've seen, they are God sent to help our vets in need and those who are actively serving.
you can donate as little as $15 to send a care package to a service man or woman. you can also help to buy mattresses for homeless vets as they start to get their lives together... the best part about this is that if you don't have enough to buy a complete mattress, you can contribute $50 towards a mattress.
i can't donate my time to these people because i'm in southern california... but every paycheck, i buy a care package... again only $15. how many times don't we spend that on junk.
