Fun restaurant for girls night out
Looking for someplace "different" - a nice restaurant with an "exciting vibe", but not too young or super trendy, if that makes any sense, for a girls night out. Live music would be a plus. Somewhere in the Western Suffolk/ Very Eastern Nassau area -north or south shore is fine. Any ideas?

I thought maybe it was too far from where she was looking! Melville fit the bill better!

I haven't been to Monsoon Have been wanting to try it - we have a couple of very picky eaters in the group but I'll check with them to see if that will work. We've been to Refuge (same group) and everyone liked it so if Monsoon won't work maybe we'll go back there. Thanks for the ideas.

If you go with Monsoon the Typhoon Roll and the Tempura Oreos are both a serious must.

Unfortunately Monsoon got vetoed  . Might do Refuge again, but now also looking at Storyville in Huntington and Manninos in Commack. Thanks for the ideas
