Ultrascreen with Twins ?
I am pregnant with fraternal twins. MD says it's perfectly acceptable to do the ultrascreen with twins (says it's only a problem for triplets or higher in the blood work portion).
Obviously the concern is not the Nuchal measurement itself, but rather the circulating blood portion.
Can anyone who has been through this test with twins share their experience? Normal result? False positive, etc?

Ps the Nuchal measurement was normal...just concerned about the blood results with 2 babes...

I have fraternal twins. They warned me that the bloodwork could show false positives because of the twins so I prepared myself just in case. The nuchal measurement was fine and so was my bloodwork. I am glad I had it done. Like they say, prepare for the worst, but hope for the best! That's what I always did (and still do). Hang in there momma
