have only been to good n plenty but we had a great time. food was great and they had a cute little playground outside and lots of fireflies at night. we also bought some yummy jam at the store they have. they had a coupon online. haven't heard of plain and fancy, is it similar?

I've only been to Plain & Fancy but I thought the food was amazing. We are going back to Lancaster next month and will be going back.

It bothers me that you can't get a glass of wine with dinner at any of these places....

We just got back and went to Plain and Fancy. DH got a beer and the other adults sharing the table family-style, not with us, shared a carafe of white wine.
Plain and Fancy was good. We also tried Millers and I actually preferred it.

We went to Good n Plenty and I didn't like the food. I agree that Millers, which is buffet style, was very good.

They are both the same in my opinion They serve you the exact same foods, both family style, and sitting with strangers. We have tried both and I don't really care for them. I would rather do a smorgasbord. We always go to Shady Maple and Millers. Although with Millers we did not do dinner there this time. The money wasn't really worth it anymore. But we always go to Millers and Shady Maple for breakfast ! So good!

I have never been to either, but I see on their websites you have the option of sitting alone and ordering off the menu or sitting with others and having family style.
