If your son had an undescended testicle please come in
Hey all, ds has an undescended testicle. We had a consult with dr lane Palmer who is recommending surgery.
Has anyone been through this with their infant that can tell me their experience? Just wondering what to expect. He is under a year old. Thanks!

My son had the surgery done but it was not done until he was in 3rd grade. I'm not sure what they use to determine the age at which to do the surgery - I think in our case they were giving it time to possibly come down on its' own.
The surgery was no problem and it was done as a day op. Recovery took about a week til he was no longer in discomfort.

My nephew has it. He is 3 and the dr did not recommend the surgery yet. They said to wait and see.

My cousin's son had this surgery done when he was 1 or 2 years old I believe. It went well and he recovered quickly.
