Semen Analysis
Where does every go for semen analysis? We have had 2 done, both at LI IVF in Melville, the problem is they have no appointments for early in morning before work or in afternoon after work, which leaves only Saturday, which is hard for us because I work 12 hrs Saturday and my DH needs to have someone watch our DD while he goes obviously. I was looking for a place in Suffolk that possibly does it early AM or after work hours...any thoughts?

We always did it at our re's office or at home and dropped it off.

We have done at LIVF, also you can go to North shore . They do then there as well. You can drop off I believe . Not sure of their appt times though.

LIIVF is terrible with the times they do seaman anyalsis. They should do it at the same time they do monitoring, people go to work ! You can probably just get a script for him to go to like a quest labs . My OB gave me one before I even went to the RE. Your RE or his regular dr could probably give him one too and you would just have to get a steril cup and drop it off within an hour.

we got a SA Kit from our hospital lab, took it home, and brought the sample back for testing.
we had to do it 2times b/c the first time they didnt give us everything needed in the kit (said something a bout a warming pack for transport).
on a funny note, the 2nd time at a different hospital they marked the form for post vasectomy analysis..so when our family dr. got the results the nurse called and said "Im afraid to tell you your vasectomy didnt work."

This! He can get a collection condom from your RE and do it at home(the sample) and drop it off(usually it's an hour and a half window).
