new obgyn needed
Can anyone reccommend an OBGYB? I had a change in insurance and can no longer see mine. It has to be with NSLIJ since my insurance only accepts those doctors. I found some online but would prefer a reccomendation rather than just someone from a book. TIA!

Your insurance only accepts dr's at one hospital? I never heard of that. I'd recommend Women for Women, but they deliver and Katz LIJ.

It is awful, its called Care Connect from NSLIJ and I can only see Drs affiiated with that hospital. I hate it. Thank you for the reccomendation. I started seeing Dr. Cafaro and had a huge fight with him and will never go back there again... I am also seeing Dr. Scholl as my RE but need an obgyn.

I second great neck Obgyn. They are awesome . Was just there today. And they deliver in North Shore Manhasset so I am assuming they are part of it .

Dr. Trongone is my obgyn. Love him. He also has a new partner who is great too. He is out of NSLIJ. I also went to Center for Human Reproduction at North Shore.

Dr Jessica Rubin in Great Neck! She is in a practice with a few other doctors including an MFM(if needed). They deliver at North Shore and it's guaranteed to be a doctor in the practice that delivers you.
I use to use Dr Lauren Bashian in Bellmore who delivers at LIJ. She's great but her wait times were INSANE and no guarantee she would deliver you. I left because of the wait times and my 20 month old DD goes with me to my OB appts. She would get too restless waiting.

nice office and the Dr always calls back. IMO I don't care for Wendy, I think she is a nut case who cant stop talking :)

really you too?! I have never disliked a dr as much as Cafaro, I have nothing nice to say about him. I didnt like him my first apt but thought I had to get to know him. After my follow up last week I will never go there again. I caused such a scene yelling back at him. He was so mean to me I couldnt believe it. I have heard good things of the other drs there but cant go there again after what happened.

That is so bizarre, I love him and am ehhh on Rosenberg. I can't even imagine him yelling. I love McNally there. Love love. But i understand if you have to leave the practice.
I had a very high risk pregnancy with many complications and that office was phenomenal
