Mommy and me program in nursery for 2 year olds
I went to a mommy and me program with my daughter at her nursery school until she started going on her own at 3. It was just for an hour and a half and met weekly.
My son will be 2 in a few months and I heard most programs are not like this. With my daughter we lived out of state so we can't use the place I used with her.
Are 2 year old mommy and me SCHOOOL based programs less common here? Do they exist? I don't mean mommy and me gymboree type stuff.

Mommy and me program in nursery for 2 year olds
I started dd in nursery school when she was about 16 months. From October to December it was mommy and me. Was two days a week for an hour and a half. Then January it became drop off and was still the same two days a week but for 2 hours a day.
It was really important to me to have that transition so we both can be comfortable with the separation.
I don't think it's as common though.

Thanks! I mean for children age 2-3.
I know most programs have them for younger kids, but 2 is still a baby to me.

YMCA has this. It's called You and Me Preschool. It's very cute. I did it with DD before we moved on to real preschool.

Yes, mine does in RVC. They're called cooperative Nursery schools around here.
This one specifically is HOly Trinity Lutheran Early Childhood
There's another one that is well-reviewed too, called Moms and Tots in merrick

I did Just Wee Two with my DC when they were 2. It runs the whole school year in three sessions and I thought it was a fantastic program. I did it in Manhasset, but there are several locations.

St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton in Bellmore has a really cute program called Our Time and they offer a one hour class on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.

St Brigid's in Westbury has a Mommy and Me and it's exactly what you described. It's about 2 hours, once a week. I did it when my older son was 2 and will be doing it again with my twins.
