Ikea
Has anyone done a kitchen with IKEA? We're thinking of getting a kitchen with IKEA and having them do the measuring and the design too. Does anyone have experience with Ikea's design services? They say its a different company then ikea that does this service. Just curious. Thanks!

We did it ourselves and the person in the store, its REALLY easy and REALLY foolproof. LOVE our Ikea kitchen, looks great, now 10 years old and still going strong after DH and I, a few kids and a dog!

My mom did and its great! Holding up well too. She did a new island and they took down a wall and installed a counter and stove there. They did the butcher block counter tops from ikea there and kept the granite on the other side of the kitchen. It looks amazing. Recently she re did the cabinets on the original side. Black from Ikea and a dark cherry on the other side. I was surprised to see how well the two colors when together.
They bought everything and did all the work themselves.
