Honestly they really don't know yet. A shift of 50 miles coukd mean almost nothing. It's hard to call now.

Look at the last storm. A shift of 30 miles saved NYC. Best to stay tuned to the best meteorologists and their thoughts.

I bookmarked the link Years ago when Waterspout was giving a weather update.
I have NO idea how to get to it navigating the site. I've tried and it's not east to find. So here is the link LOL

Head to their website (www.weather.gov/okx)
And click on the box that says 'seasonal weather information'. Believe me, I am getting lost on the new version of the website.

I google noaa snow totals upton and I always get it!

Where did you hear 8-12'??????? I have only seen 3-6 for Long Island. The map that someone posted shows 4-6... unless I am reading it wrong?

3. Click on seasonal weather information graphic (last row)
4. Click on expected snow/ice totals
There are also experimental models below that show probabilities.
