No teeth yet...
My son is now 13 months and not one tooth! The doctor is not concerned but did anyone else experience this? My older son had at least two teeth by his first birthday.

Yes! My first DD didn't have any teeth at 13 months either! She is late losing them too! My youngest DD had almost a full mouth of teeth at 13 months. The doctor told me not to worry also, but of course, I did!

My ped actually laughed and said ,I have never seen a child, in all my years of practice, who DIDN'T get teeth eventually.

No teeth yet...
My DS didn't get his first tooth until 14 months! He actually cut the bottom 2 at the same time. He is now almost 2.5 years old and he still only has 11 teeth with a few coming in now. He is the slowest teether!!!! My DD is 15 months and has 4 top, 4 bottom and 4 molars! Ped was never concerned.

Our ped dentist said the longer you have no teeth, the less time you have to no cavities!

 completely agree! My ds has a mouth full of teeth at 18 months and I am always do worried about cavities for me.

My cousin and I were talking about this just over x-mas. Her daughter didn't get her first tooth until she was over 12months old. She said they practically all came in at once and by 2 she had caught up.

Same here! DD didn't get her first til 13 months or so. And she got 2 at once. I used to think the same thing! What if it's this rare thing that she didn't develop any teeth at all!

My youngest got 2 teeth and 10 months but than didn't get anymore teeth until 19 months. We were getting concerned. I had even made an appointment at a dentist. Well by 20 months she started getting teeth like crazy. She is all caught up now at 2.5 and has the right amount of teeth.

My mom always says the later you get teeth, the stronger the teeth are. I didn't get my first tooth till 12 months and I have no cavities at age 30!
