Favorite Small Town USA
I really want to travel to small towns in the US - I can only name a few off the top of my head and could really use some inspiration. Also maybe say if they are best to visit in the winter months or summer.
Newport R.I - mostly summer but I think off season would work too
Greenport - again mostly summer
Sag Harbor - year round
East Hampton - year round
Woodstock - year round
Greenwich and Westport CT - spring / summer but probably year round?

I love all these towns and think they can be nice to visit anytime of the year. Of course, fall being the optimal time to visit New England due to the foliage.

I spent many summers on that lake, my aunt and uncle have had a home there since I was a little kid!

Most of the towns on Cape Cod are nice. I think they are better late spring, summer, or early fall. Plymouth is also really cute.

Haven't been back in awhile but I went to SUNY New Paltz and it's a great town and area.
Sugar Loaf is also a cute little artisan community and Milford, PA is where my sister lives.
Lots to do nearby in terms of outdoor stuff if you like that thing.
