Sorry ladies. I was trying to upload pics in the hospital but I didn't want to use my computer or iPad on the insecure server and the phone wasn't cutting it. We are home and she is perfect in every way.
This is Taylor Lea, born March 21, 2015 at 8:32am. 6 lbs, 15 oz.

My problem is she has a body part, probably foot, jammed into my upper rib cage and it hurts. I can't sleep. I have an extremely short torso and long legs, so there's not a lot of room for her and she's in every corner of my body. It's so uncomfortable. One week from tomorrow!
Meanwhile i was right. Good thing I had a scheduled c-section because her foot was wedged under my lung. Her foot came out bent wrong. If she had tried to come down the birth canal it could have been worse then it is.
It seems to be straightening itself out but we are going to see a pediatric orthopedic just in case.
She measured in at 21 inches.

Thanks I have to be there at 7 and I am exhausted. Nerves got the best of my sleep last night. I'm just excited to hold him in my arms. Your little girl is beautiful! Congrats!

I forgot to tell you all. The cough I had from November on… I was coughing all morning before the c-section. I haven't coughed once since they took Taylor out.

Julian Cade Venendaal was born on 3/26 at 10:32am via c section, he is 7lbs 8ounces and such an adorable little guy. We are still in the hospital but as soon as we get home I will post a picture and a formal introduction.

What are you ladies packing for coming home outfits/blankets?
DS due end of month but this weather has been so iffy. Snow this morning!
Wanted to pack bags up this weekend just in case. Should I bring him a blanket? I have the shower cap car seat cover but think that will be too heavy? Coming home outfit is a light woven sweater material. Not sure if that will be too warm or not warm enough!

I would pack it. Better to have it and not need it then vice versa.
The seat cover could be a little heavy, but again you can leave it in the car and see how the weather is. April can go either way.
I'm bringing him home in a layette and I have a pram just in case it's chilly. Going to bring a blanket as well.

I packed a girl and boy onesie light sweater with a white onesie to go underneath, booties, hat and a light blanket. I am due in the beginning of the month though so I thought it would be a little chilly still. The snow this morning confirmed my thoughts, lol. I think the light woven sweater will be perfect, April doesnt usually get too hot.

I packed footie type pajamas to take DD home in. I'm also going to put the light bundle me on the car seat. And I have a hat for her also.

Given what's going on with the weather I'd bring a cold weather and warm weather option. I used the car seat cover, but I left it in the car until I knew I was being released. DH brought it up about an hour before so it had time to warm up.
My outfit was a onesie, but not knowing how big she'd be I chose a newborn and a 0-3 month onesie. I washed the 0-3 month and left the tags on the newborn and gave them both to my mom. When she was born under 7lbs my mom took the tags off the newborn outfit, washed it and brought it up. I figured this way if she was over 8lbs I could return it.
