Iphone 6 available in store (Verizon)?
Has anyone gotten their phone in store? I know Verizon is saying trade in your old Iphone for a 6 but this is not true if it is backordered. Thanks!!

If the one you want isn't in stock you have to order it and when it comes in you trade in your phone. They have some, just not the plus.

Thank you for replying! I am just getting different stories from Verizon lol!! That the credit doesn't go toward the actual purchase of the phone but that you can use it toward other Verizon products/monthly bill.

Thank you for replying! I am just getting different stories from Verizon lol!! That the credit doesn't go toward the actual purchase of the phone but that you can use it toward other Verizon products/monthly bill.
It actually doesn't go towards the purchase of the phone. I traded in my 4 when I got the 5s. The credit was applied to my bill, so it doesn't matter. Money is money and either way I got the credit. It might have just been the one I went to bc one of their systems was down so I got the "credit" in a gift card to be applied to my bill.
Dh ordered the 6plus and when it comes in it will be the same thing.

I get what you're saying but one way or the other, you're getting $200. In this case, you're getting the money on a gift card. It's the exact amount of the phone. So as long as the phone you want is in stock and you intend to trade in your old phone the same day, yes, you can apply the gift card to the purchase of the phone. If not, you're still getting the cash back for it.

That's why when I upgraded from the 4S to the 5S last year, I didn't bother trading it in to Verizon. They were only going to give me a $200 credit so instead I sold it on ebay for almost $300.

For those of you that traded in your phone...how did you make sure there is NO personal information left on it? I always feel like they will still have access to my texts, passwords, etc....

You wipe it completely clean. They will show you how and make you put in your passcode which will reset the phone like it was brand new.

I called Apple yesterday and they will buy your old phone and give you a gift card to buy a new phone or whatever you want to use it for.
my last phone radio shack bought it (4s, gave me $150 and I bought the 5s with the gift card)
