things that make you feel frustrated
I spent an hour on the phone trying to explain the problem I am having with the cell phone, after going through the menu, press this #, press that # do you want,,,speaking to 3 people they still seem confused.
I am so tired of all companies, insurance, cablevision etc having long menus, where you have to pick a million options, enter your phone number or ID# in order to get to a live person, bc without that info you cant get to a live body only to be asked by that live body for the same info, WTF??
then, having to explain the problem or question over and over because its always the wrong person...
what bothers you?
oh by the way, this makes me want to become a rude customer!!

The help desk at my job. I always say in my next life I wanna be tech support. You don't have to know your ass from your elbow and you are never held accountable 
(No offense to anyone who works tech support, but these guys are idiots)

The latest was today at the aquarium. In the cafe trying to get lunch (which is grab and go) and a family is just standing right in front of the food station waiting on something that isn't readily available. Everyone is trying to reach around them to get food. You think they woulvd made an effort to clear the way for others while they wait... No why would you be considerate. So I'm just as considerate reaching my hand over you  . I really don't get people!

Not getting a hello
Maybe I sound entitled. But I hate feeling invisible when I walk into a store. You see me. Just say hello.
I've noticed this a lot recently in mom n pop stores. Trying to do the locals a favor and it would be cool for them to look up or say hello. This happened when I was the only one in the store, too
If I had a cool little shop, I would greet everyone. Just a simple greeting, acknowledging them. It does wonders.

People who don't move up enough in a turning lane (in their cars)! They're just sitting there like, lalala when others are jutting out into the lane next to the turning lane, impeding traffic  DH and I go nuts about this every time it happens. You don't need to be up on the bumper in front of you, but come on.... one car length in between?
Same thing with drivers who HAVE to turn left at a bad spot, holding up tons of traffic when there is clearly a more convenient turning spot, even if you have to drive an extra 300 feet.
I'd rather go around and make 3 right turns and burn gas than be "that guy". I can't imagine being so self absorbed to be like "too bad... you all need to wait for moi". Frustrating.

Honestly, I think it's more the volume of cars here on LI that bothers me and not people needing to make the left hand turn.
I don't think anyone intentionally goes to turn thinking they are holding everyone else up.
There's really no way to avoid it in a lot of places, especially during rush hour on say, MerrickRd.
Thinking people are purposely doing this honesty sounds more selfish/entitled to me.

Tourists with wheelie luggage in midtown during rush hour.
People who stop in front of the turnstile and THEN get out their Metrocard. I hate those people and I do wish they all shit their pants on the way home. Was it a surprise that you were getting on the train?
Causeheads on Facebook. You know the type. People who have a new cause that they're passionate about every single day. Meanwhile they do absolutely nothing about it in their real life. 
The RIPpers. Another FB vent of mine...those that scramble onto FB as soon as a celebrity is declared dead to post the celeb's name and "RIP". Not people who do this once in awhile...people who do it for every single high-profile death. It's just so odd to me...post a memory of the person's work or something. You don't need to be the town crier for this.

When people think a doorway is a great place to have a 30 minute conversation with others, blocking the whole hallyway/door.
Being followed around in stores by a salesman...leave me alone I can shop for a mattress/couch/etc by myself.
When people don't use a blinker. ugh.
I'm sure there are more lol.

Nono not selfish/entitled. I get the MErrick road thing. I live right off of Merrick Rd. I just wish people would be more aware of their surroundings sometimes. I'd Be MORTIFIED if I were holding up a whole line of cars, not one. Just the opposite of selfish and entitled.

Whatever I originally said to make me sound selfish and entitled; please know it wasn't my intention at all. Just the opposite- to show that I'm aware of others and I wouldn't do anything to inconvenience other people around me. I always think others should do the same.

You didn't sound selfish at all...I don't think anyone would think that. It's frustrating when people are so self-centered on the road that they inconvenience 100 people just to make a situation a teeeeeny bit more convenient for themselves.
It also frustrates (or more terrifies me) the amount of people who do these things because they're simply not paying attention while driving. It's SO dangerous.

Rude, self entitled, nasty people.
LAZY people who complain they have to wake sooo early up at 8am everyday.
These ******** selfies. Please just stop.
Life in general and the horrible addiction to Social Media. I love posting / browsing FB as much as the next, but we are becoming a society so reliant on technology, there is hardly any human interaction anymore.
The price of everything going up up up
The amount of shit these food companies put in their food.. processed garbage, chemicals, additives, preservatives. Why is it that I cant find a decent loaf of bread at Pathmark without all the added garbage?
I can go on & on...

Having to pull over on the side of the LIE to clean vomit off of a 2 year old and her carseat when we were FINALLY almost home from a 6 hour trip. Then of course having to strip and clean a carseat at 11pm when all I wanted to do was go to bed.
