16 week appointment
What goes on at the 16 week appointment?
I had the NT Scan at 12 weeks and the anatomy scan will be at 20 weeks.
My dr. said I'll have another ultrasound at this upcoming appointment (yay!) and will need to give more blood. I'm just curious what they are testing for at this point.

The blood test will screen for spina bifida. The sono will be similar to the 12 week- they'll take measurements and make sure baby is developing normally, screen for any abnormalities, etc. You may even be able to find out the baby's sex if s/he cooperates! Good luck and enjoy!

This is what I was told too! I'm doing mine next weds!!! So excited to see my baby again!

I just had my 16 week apt. and just had bloodwork done with a check on the heart rate.

16 week appointment
In the 16 the week your doctor will ask you about
Are you feeling nauseated?
Are you feeling the baby move yet? (And later: Is your baby moving as often as before?)
Have you been leaking fluid or had any vaginal spotting or bleeding?
Have you felt any contractions?
