cereal in the bottle and nipple question
If you put cereal in the bottle, what bottle/nipples do you use? We use Playtex ventaire and the slow nipples and it takes forever for ds to eat. I try the medium and it is way too fast!

I have born free bottle and used level 2. I use a tablespoon every 4 oz. as dd got older the flow was better bc she could suck harder. At first I found level 2 to be to slow and level 3 was way to fast.

I use Avent and they have a variable flow nipple that works really well.

I use dr. Browns level 3 nipple. I use 1-2 tablespoons for a 6 oz bottle. Ds is 4m old

we were having the same problem, but with formula...slow is too slow medium is to fast...DH poked a bigger hole in the slow nipples..not as big as the medium, not as small as the slow...HTH!

When my son took cereal we bought Tommy Tippie Bottles just for the cereal. We got the Y shaped nipples. This is what worked best. We used Dr.Browns for formula.

we use born free level 2 nipples with 1 tsp of rice cereal in the last 2oz of my son's nighttime bottle & he does good with that. he is 4 months old
