Hiring Freeze is over!!!
On the DOE website schools can now hire Common Branch teachers (as well as a bunch of other certs)!!!! I'm so excited, I figure I'd spread the news!!! 
So does anyone know of schools that are actively hiring? I have 5 years experience teaching in a private school. Right now I'm subbing in a charter school everyday.
Please feel free to post or FM me and info you'd like to share!

Social Studies, Math, (Advanced Placement teaching experience strongly preferred in both subjects) and possibly music if the teacher ever retires.

Social Studies, Math, (Advanced Placement teaching experience strongly preferred in both subjects) and possibly music if the teacher ever retires.
Where do you work? I teach advanced math in a private school for 5/6 and as much as I love it, I have to submit a few resumes this summer.

As far as I know, all this means is that they don't have to hire through those that were excessed in their districts anymore, which is great for us, but I feel bad for those that had jobs that they now have to compete with an open market.
