I used the site twice, it was great. It cut out the hassle of having to negotiate. The price was significantly lower than what I would've paid otherwise.

The Truecar dealers didn't have the color and options I wanted, but another dealer matched the Truecar price for me. They matched it without any hassle, so maybe I could have gotten a lower price, but I was happy with how easy it was.

I just used it two weeks ago. Through a work program i got a bunch of bonus spending points after the purchase was made. I was able to get the car for even less than the TRUCAR certificate by negotiating on the options put on the car and for the hold back amount on the invoice.
Def. worthwhile for gauging what you should be spending on a car and what others have paid for the same car.

I am picking up my car today and I just looked to see if I was getting a good deal. I'm actually lower then the lowest price listed so I'm super excited! We negotiated a LOT, went to 2 different dealers and the second dealer told us to go with the first one because it was such a great deal. LOL! So I would say that is pretty accurate, but try to negotiate first with your number in mind.
