Any CT families here?
We are closing on a house in CT in June and I was just wondering if anyone on these boards lives there now

Curious as to what brought you to ct from li? My husband and I talk about looking in ct but always fall back on being too far from our families.

I was living in Westchester and my DH was in CT so I moved here when we got married. My family is Long Island (Suffolk). It's not too bad but I was in westchester so I wasn't close already, I love it here though

Im in West Granby abut a half hour north of Hartford. We moved from Wantagh 2 years ago for DH's job. I love it here now and can't imagine going back.

I grew up on Li but moved to NYC after law school. We have been living here for 7 years but DH started a job in CT about a year ago and the reverse commute has been brutal. Plus with #2 on the way we need more space and don't want to deal with the NYC preschool craziness.
