Outback vs forester

Went looking today at new cars and saw both the forester and outback. I liked the interior of the outback, but the exterior look of the forester. Any recommendations good or bad for either-TIA

My mom just got the forester. She didn't like the outback when she test drove it. She loves her forester. Amazing in the snow. Both are great cars. I guess it's about which you like better.

We have a Forester and we love it. It drives great, there are great sight lines, and we like the interior room (plenty of room for people to sit even with a car seat installed!).

Traditionally the Outback was a station wagon and the Forester was the SUV, but they've changed the Outback to look a lot more like an SUV too. It might have more cargo room than the Outback even though it's not as high. It's more expensive than a Forester and was out of our price range, but we liked it a lot too. Can't go wrong with either.

Thanks! I have to test drive both of them this week, but I think I'm leaning more towards the forester for cost reasons too. I appreciate the feedback, thanks again!

We had a Forester and it was my favorite car ever. Next cart that I buy brand new will definitely be another one.

We have the forester its an amzing perfect car. It handles like a dream with rain snow and ice. Cant go wrong
