 Oh gosh ladies I am overwhelmed with this outpouring of support and emotion, truly you have no idea how happy I am to be able to share it with all of you
So just to answer some of your questions..
As many of you know here on TTC, I have very irregular cycles. I had endometriosis that was diagnosed(and removed) this past January and I was told to try and get PG before it had a chance to return
SO after months of no luck, I was becoming more and more convinced I had was not ovulating OR when I was ovulating, it was very late .. I have VERY irregular cycles, usually at least 40+ days but lately up to 50+ and more
After charting the past couple months, I was finding NO pattern in my temps and was so so certain I was not ovulating, especially this month I was convinced I had not. I was just really hoping AF would show, as crazy as that sounds. I had stopped testing when I hit day 35 because I was just going to get AF eventually.. YES I was actually HOPING to get AF so I could move onto whatever my doctor recommended. I was about to go back to my RE that treated my Endo and see about starting Clomid.
BUT this past weekend, it was my DH who kept urging me to "test" .. he just kept telling me "I looked different" and that I was just WAY overdue. I , on the other hand, was convinced I was NOT PG.
But in retrospect, the signs were there .. for 2 weeks I started with a horrible cold that would not go away, then a nasty stomach virus (or so I thought) I was feeling SO PMSy for over 2 weeks (totally exhausted, very weird cramps which I still currently have and extremely sore boobs)
After getting two FAUTLY results on the internet cheapies (literally NO LINES shows up, not even the control line) I tested with Equate and got a nice line. THEN I ran out and got the digital and it popped up within seconds. I was ecstatic and in disbelief all at the same time..
SOME 10 tests later (YES I AM still testing, the POAS obsession does NOT stop when you get PG ladies!) and lines getting darker and darker, it is finally sinking in.. but I know that I won't be entirely convinced until I see my OBGYN !
Of course I have NO clue when I may be due, based on the fact that I have NO idea when I O'd or conceived BUT If I were to go by my last period(June 12) I would be due sometime late March '06!!
ANYHOW, I hope this gives all my fellow irregular cycle girls some hope and that you all soon follow in my footsteps and be well on your way to join me ... I love the girls on this board too much and I dont wanna leave... or ok its nice to leave but I want you all graduating soon too!
