Anyone have experience with a claim for Applecare? I want to know if its worth it.
I am getting my nephew an ipad for X-mas. He breaks things even though he is 14 years old.
So I see that AppleCare covers broken ipad etc for a $50 deductible.
Anyone have experience with this? Is it great? Does it suck?

Anyone have experience with a claim for Applecare? I want to know if its worth it.
I have only used applecare for my Macbook. I never had an issue and they always fixed my issues without problems.

we had a great experience with it - screen cracked - we were 11 mons in to apple care - replaced the ipad with a refurb - no problem or issues... they were very helpful...

DH screen broke, he went and got a brand new phone for $50
well worth it imo

I have used applecare for my phone and ipad.. both times it was great and it was well worth it.

Great! Great.
My nephew has broken just about every electronic thing we have bough hm. We are VERY hesitant to get an Ipad......but it will be the only big gift he gets for the holidays. Looks like apple care it is.
