so this 4 month sleep regression is a real thing
DD is 4.5 months and for the last week or so she has been waking up from around 3 to 6 on and off.
we were spoiled because she has essentially been sleeping through the night since 6 weeks old.
sometimes she's just making tired crying noises or talking to herself so i just leave her. but when she starts real crying i go in there, put the binky back in and rub her belly or back. this works for a little while then shes back up again.
is this just a phase? will she go back to sleeping through the night??
any other suggestions??

It was real for us here
Twins def got up often but it lasted maybe 2 weeks
Then we started teething and we have not slept since!

It's real. Happened to all three of mine, but they were not great sleepers to begin with. My 4 1/2 month old went from sleeping 7-8 hour stretches back down to 3 -4hours at a time. A month later and it hasn't gotten better. Thinking of doing CIO soon.
Its very frustrating. I keep hearing about all these babies his age STTN.

No because DD didn't STTN until after 6 months old.

Happened to me. DD slept great at 2-3 months but at 4 months she started waking more. It was once a night, then twice a night, and up until a year she never sttn again. I nursed her at night until I finally did CIO and weaned her at 16 months!

This happened to us at the same age too. We tried to stick it out and lasted a month. She kept waking up, we would give her the pack and she would fall back to sleep. The worst/last night she woke up more than 10 times. We took away the paci and did CIO at 5.5 months. At over 2 years she still sleeps great. Good luck!!

yes! Just finished it a few weeks ago (DS is 5.5 months). It was the absolute worst and I thought it would never end! But it did and DS is doing great!
