Fall Road Trip

Hi girls, we're planning a road trip to upstate to see the changing of the season, I've always heard how beautiful it is to see the leaves changing color. Has anybody done this? If yes, when it's the best time to do it, and any specific places we should go to? Thank u =)

DH and I did this last year the 2nd week in October and it was absolutely beautiful! We didn't stay overnight in upstate NY, we continued out drive to Quebec and then to Maine but there are a ton of beautiful bed and breakfasts in upstate NY. I usually use tripadvisor for reviews. Have fun!

the third weekend of october, i head up to rhinebeck ny for the sheep and wool festival... it's ALWAYS glorious!!!

you won't regret it!

we're also planning a family trip to the baseball hall of fame. hoping extend it an extra day so we can enjoy the sites (since the men-folk don't go to rhinebeck with me).
