Beta #s
Hi everyone,
I posted last week about early pregnancy and my doc freaking me out about an ectopic.
My beta #s came back from last Wednesday night at 800 (which is very good)
and then on Saturday I went for a repeat and it was 21,000.
If one more person says twins to me, I am going to freak out about that. But, I guess I can safely say that I am out of the woods for an ectopic?

How far along were you for beta #2?
I had a relatively highish beta at 5w3d and I thought I was either further along or had multiples. My dates were right and there's only one. You could just have a high beta. Not sure about the ectopic thing.

I was either 4 weeks and 3 days or 4 weeks and 5 days. I can't be farther along as I had a fill AF in mid-August.

My BETA numbers seem similar to yours. My number was 210 on 4 weeks. By 4 weeks 2 days it had doubled 400+. By 4 weeks 4 days, I assume it doubled again and was ~900. I am pregnant with a singleton.

Those seem very high and increasing very fast. I googled out of curiousity and found some blog posts with people posting about similar numbers and one poster had twins and the other had a singleton and a cyst but everything was ok. What does your doctor think?

Beta numbers are not a sign of how many babies you are pregnant with. I had very high betas and they would more than double in 48 hours, but I had a singleton.
