15 weeks and still have not started to show

Next week is my next appt. but why am I still concerned that I don't notice a change in my body. Clothing still fits, never had symptoms, & sometimes I'm hungrier than others. Could something be up? I doubt it because I feel great, but its always something I think about. When did you ladies start to "show?"

Re: 15 weeks and still have not started to show

Around 30 weeks/7 months. At 15 weeks all my pants still fit & I didn't have any bump at all-- my kid ended up being normal size (7 lb 11 oz) & no problems. I think a lot of people are barely showing, if at all, at 15 weeks. I don't think it's a sign of anything being wrong. I'm sure you're fine!!

Re: 15 weeks and still have not started to show

I was the same.
I went for my amnio at like 16-17 weeks and remember distinctly wearing my regular jeans.
I didn't even tell people at work until I was almost 6 months pregnant.
I didn't show even a little until then.
It's fine- everyone carries differently.

Thank you, that was helpful. I realize everyone.responds to pregnancy differently but I didn't think my jeans would fit so well at this point. Maybe ill just enjoy it while I still can.

15 weeks and still have not started to show

I am almost 14 weeks and still in my regular clothes. I dont really have many symptoms. Everyone is different and every pregnancy is different.

Re: 15 weeks and still have not started to show

I agree with the other posts. I was still very much in regular clothes at 15 weeks. for me, I popped at 16 weeks and by 18 weeks I switched to maternity pants. everyone is different.

I don't think I really looked pregnant until somewhere around 25 weeks. Eventually I looked obviously pregnant, but just never carried large.

At 15 weeks your baby is still teeny tiny! Don't worry if you're not showing yet.

15 weeks and still have not started to show

I'm 14 weeks and all I've done was lose weight but I'm bigger to begin with so Dr. says it's fine. My mom wants me to start shopping for maternity clothes but I'm like, I need smaller clothes! Literally, my pants are falling down constantly. Pregnancy has been the best diet ever lol. But seriously, it's totally normal. Everyone's bodies are different.

ETA: Some people are full term and barely look pregnant.

I really didn't start showing til 20w, and symptoms come and go so you cannot judge by that. Relax and hang in there, everything is fine!!!

I think I started to show a bit around 23 weeks or so.. because I went for my Level 2 at 21 weeks, and the nurses were commenting on how small I was and I'm petite and slim so and then two weeks later we were at a party people who knew me noticed a slight bump and the those who didn't, well.. you know Chat Icon

Eventually I did show Chat Icon Chat Icon

I didn't show until I was 6 months or so. I was really worried about the baby the whole time, but everything always came back fine. Chat Icon

I didn't pop until 20-22 weeks (I can't recall exactly). I didn't begin wearing maternity clothes until after that.

I went to my 20 week u/s with my first in my regular clothes and only gained 1 pound...50 pounds later, I was showing Chat Icon

It is so nerve-wracking those first few months of being PG and unsure what the heck is going on with your body and everyone truly shows differently.

With both pregnancies, I barely had anything until 20-22 weeks. With this one, I finally have a belly at 25 weeks. People tell me I'm small for six months, but I guess it's just how I carry.

Re: 15 weeks and still have not started to show

Thank you ladies!! I feel much better after reading. I thought for some reason I would be def showing significantly at 15 weeks but as other posters said, the baby is still very tiny, about the size of an apple maybe? Oh and I'm wearing my jeans as I type this.
