Re: Bedtimes

My kids are 6 and almost 4 and they have to be out the door at 8:15 am. We are up at about 6:45 am. My kids go to sleep at about 8 - 8:30 pm.

Our next door neighbors kids are 11 and 12. They also have an 8-8:30 pm bed time according to their parents.

My almost 8 year old goes to bed at 8:20/8:30 pm en reads until 9:00 pm when he needs to be sleeping. We wake him up at 7:30 am. He never wakes up by himself before this time... except on the weekends, of course! Chat Icon

Re: Bedtimes

My son is almost 10 and he usually goes to bed at 9pm. Some days it might be earlier or later, depending on how tired he is. He does not have a "bedtime" and he is an early bird so I never have to worry about him oversleeping.

Re: Bedtimes

My 8 and 9 year olds go to bed at 8:30 on nights when they don't have sports practices and 9:00 when they do.

They usually wake up on their own, but when they don't they are woken up at 7:30

Re: Bedtimes

My 6 and 8 year old go to bed around 9pm and wake up around 6:30am. I'd like to get them to bed between 8-8:30pm, but we get home around 6pm.
