1st sono 5weeks 6 days- what to expect

Did anyone see the heartbeat that early? With my first I went. 6 weeks 3days and saw/ heard DC heart beat

I don't know what to expect this time around. I go the end of this week.

Just wanted to tell you not to get upset if you don't see/hear the heartbeat that early. I had my first sono around then, and they only saw a sac, nothing else. I was told to come back in one week - longest week of my life! - and sure enough we saw and heard the heartbeat! :)

Usually around 6 weeks you will get a heartbeat, but I just wanted to tell you that if you don't this time, it may just be too early.

I just looked through my old posts because I got curious...

At 5 weeks 4 days, they only saw a yolk sac and "the beginnings of a fetal pole."

At 6 weeks 6 days, we saw and heard the heart beat.

So the hb started sometime in between then... good luck!!!
