Turks & Caicos
Looking into Beaches Turks and Caicos for our next vacation. I know that there are different villages within the property. Any recommendations on where to stay?

We stayed in the French quarters. Loved it. Quiet great pool buy further away from the beach. The prettiest but most $$ part was the Italian quarters. Very awesome here you can't go wrong.

I was actually just coming on here to ask about Beaches Turks & Caicos. It comes out as quite costly for our family of 5 but I just want to make sure that it would be worth it. We don't like crowded environments and prefer a more relaxed, casual feel. I'm looking for a fun-filled family friendly place that is high quality and not stuffy. Any other experienced Beaches T & C people out there?

We stayed at Club Med Turquoise a few weeks ago. Had a great time, i posted a review on Trip Advisor. Its an all inclusive resort, we had a lot more fun than when we stayed at Sandals St. Lucia.

Just came on to see if anyone posted about Beaches Turks recently. Am looking to go in Jan with our 20 month old. Anyone been there with a young toddler? Which is the best village to stay in?

we stayed in the Italian Village - well worth the money. The first time we went we were in carribbean village. I didn't love it. I like being high up to enjoy ocean views. I asked for an upgrade and they sent us to a suite in the Italian. I've been twice and would go back every year

I personally did not think Beaches was worth the price. Our kids did not love the activities though. 2yo DS cried at kid's club and was traumatized. Whenever he even saw a kid activity, he was afraid we would leave him and did not enjoy it. 4yo DS had an ok time but he also did not want to be left at kid's club. There was a lot of crying/whining about not wanting to go to kid's club. Most other resorts charge extra for kid's club. Since this is included in the price, it drives the resort rates higher.
The kids are not sesame st fans. By the 3rd night, they were bored with the eve show. They loved the pools and beaches but we could have had that at any resort. Food was decent for all inclusive but I would prefer to just buy our meals and have higher quality.
Our next vacation is at the Cove in Atlantis. After that, I may do a luxurious kid friendly resort like Four Seasons. It will probably still be cheaper than Beaches Turks and Caicos. I had heard so much hype about Beaches that I had very high expectations. Maybe that is why I was disappointed. If my kids had a blast and everything else was subpar, I would have been satisfied.

Though I didn't go there with my DD I have to agree.
The price was INSANITY- I feel like you could go to the Four Seasons or the Ritz for that price.
And the room was shabby, run down, furniture was beat up, the shower didn't work, the toilet didn't flush right.
The food, IMO, was so sub par.
I was NOT a fan. Not for those prices.
