Island vacay in dec?
does anyone know of a good island to go to with a 1 year old around christmas? I'm thinking Caribbean, Jamaica...or something like that but I'm not familiar at all with the area.
Basica criteria- safe, and good food (no crazy stomach illnesses...lol)
Thanks soooo much for any advice!!!!

Island vacay in dec?
Aruba - DH and I used to go in December and the weather is fabulous. We haven't taken our boys but, we have friends who take their kids frequently and love it.

look into Isla Mujeres in mexico. Its a small island a 25 minute ferry ride from cancun. Great great food. very affordable. Clear shallow water which is perfect with kids. But if your looking for a big all inclusive, then this wouldn't work as they don't have them there. They have smaller hotels and condo style hotels. Im not sure what sort of hotel style your interested in. We did an AI in riviera maya - Now Saphire. It was very nice and kid friendly. Food was good. Not as good as eating out in town on Isla Mujeres though.
