How old is your DC? My 2 year old loves it there, we started taking him around 18 months, but he is really just starting to enjoy it now.

Yes but don't go now. They close in September for. Large fix up. Wait until then. We went two thursdays bc it was raining. Most things were broken or missing. A few things were wet (someone must have let their kids put things in their mouth. Yuck). Dd#1 started wheezing and sneezing after 15 mins last time it stopped 5 mins after we walked out the door. Won't be back until they do the make over.
Now having said that we have been going since the girls were one. During the year it is cleaner and less crowded. So I would go but wait until mid Sept.

I think it's a really fun museum, especially for ages 3-6ish.
Check your local library. I know that you can reserve free passes to LICM through them.

totally love it there, especially on a rainy day when we just want to get out of the house. My DS loves the sand area, and I love that they have those nice adirondack chairs. He can sit and play and I can sit and watch

we went recently with my DD's 2 and 5. I hadn't been in a few years and honestly, it was not as nice as I remembered. I felt like it was outdated and run down. I hope they update and clean it soon!

Took our DD for the first time a few weeks ago (age 2) and she absolutely loved it. We wound up buying a membership because I know she will go back for more.

My son was 10 months when we first went for a birthday party. I didn't want him to go thought he wouldn't get anything out of it. He loved it so much we went back for his 1st birthday and will be going again at the end of September.

I hate it there in the summer it is a zoo and over run with camps. Otherwise it's a fun day for the kids once in a while - it is a total germ fest though! But, when I have the free passes from the library it's definitely worth it!
