MODERN PARTY ROOM FOR 1st BDAY PARTY
I am looking for a MODERN venue that can fit 75 adults plus kids in Nassau. I plan on decorating it myself, so I dont want to be too ornante.
They need to offer on site catering and have a bar.
Any ideas?

Anywhere in Nassau county would do. And I can pay about $50-$60 a person. I figure if we do a buffet that should cover everyone.

Maybe Novita in Garden City or Jonathan's in NHP?
Thyme in Roslyn is nice and pretty modern.
Fiore or Marble in Floral Park
Brasserie 214 in NHP
Waterzooi (not really modern, Belgian Bistro, but I know they do private parties of this size)

Not sure how many it can hold but I really liked the Market Bistro in Jericho. Great food, clean kitchen, great staff and modern interior.
Limani but it might be pricey but BEAUTIFUL and amazing food as well.

Not sure how many places would let you decorate (if you mean decorations on the walls). NHP Inn, or Seventh St Cafe in GC.

If you'd go into western Suffolk, FOUR makes a wonderful party and is
ULTRA modern.

Jewel is in this area too (Melville)--very modern and food is delicious!!

Market Bistro i know for sure allows you to decorate. shot a baby shower there and they had decor everywhere.
