SAHMs of 2 or more

Tell me how you do it! In one week, I will have a 6 week old and a 4 year old at home all day for the summer. How do you do it? Do you have a schedule of some sort? How do you fill the time all day? I feel like I'll be losing my mind by 10 in the morning! I'm starting to panic a little so any and all advice is welcome!

I have a schedule, i plan art projects or cooking stuff etc. Heck i even play games with laundry .. but i also have a 4 yr old and an almost 3 yr old, i imagine in nov/dec with a newborn it will be a huge change. When DD was a newborn, I made sure my Ds had a busy bag waiting anytime i had to tend to the baby. Is ur older DC into helping with the baby? Id have my son get diapers, throw things out etc. And i made sure to give extra attention to the older Dc when the baby was sleeping.

The first couple months are hardest but once you get into a routine it gets soo much better!!

i have 3, two three year olds and a 1 year old and some days i'm def scared when i wake up in the am lol. but a lot of times they self direct.. they'll ask to paint or color or watch a movie or cook, and summer be outside all the time. it wont be as bad as u think, just don't let em see your fear :)

I have a 3 yr old and an almost 3 month old. Dd2 was at the park at 3 weeks old haha. I just kept my same schedule and went about my days. I don't get going until much later but I just make sure we go out. Park, shipping, whatever it is.

I have 20M twin boys & occasionally babysit a 3yr old. It can be hard. I usually take walks in the am or go to park come home for lunch nap & by then usually around 2pm when waking up. YOu will figure it out. I would think it would be harder with newborn because they are so demanding ofyour time. Hang in there momma!!!

Not a sahm but in maternity leave and have summers off. I have 2 two year olds and a 3 month old. I don't have a schedule but I try to get out as much as possible!!! The park, backyard, library etc last summer a friend and I would walk first thing every morning and get back and have bfast it made the day go so fast. On rainy days we always color/paint/do play dough right after bfast while they are in their chairs. They also love to bake so days when they are bored or fighting with eachother we bake something. You'll be fine!!!
