first sonogram question
When should you be able to see something on the ultrasound? I'm only 4wk3d and not expecting to see anything when I go for my next appointment on Monday, but I'm so looking forward to it. I'm going to be a nervous wreck until I see and hear the heartbeat. I still can't believe this is real! After years of IF, this seems surreal

At some point in week 5 you should see a gestational sac with a yolk. At 6 weeks is when you would see a heartbeat. Good luck!! I went through years of infertility as well and at nearly 29wks it still feels surreal!!!

 CONGRATULATIONS!!!
I didn't see Dr until I was at least 8weeks
(office practice) and I definitely saw a HB.
I think at 6w it can be picked up..

CONGRATS!!!!
You probably won't see anything at your next appt unless you are further then you think. I saw and heard the heartbeat at 6 weeks but they think I might have my dates off, they just never changed my due date because it was only a couple of days.
