Switching from Similac Sensitive back to regular Similac?

Has anyone tried to switch back from the Sensitive to just regular similac or Gerber Good Start Gentle? MY DS is almost 9 months and was switched when he was 1.5 months due to bad gas. He has done great on the Sensitive but now he eats a ton of regular food has also had yogurt and is fine. Has anyone switched back to regular formula? Or should I just forget it and not change?

I wouldn't change back. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Same exact thing with my DD. We switched back to regular around 9 months. No real reason, I guess in my head, I thought the transition to cows milk would be smoother...

She's taking to milk no problem but she's been constipated the past couple days. Again, I *imagine* she would be more uncomfortable if we went from Sensitive to whole milk.

This was all based on stuff in my head - I did no research on the subject at all.

I changed my sons formula all the time depending on what I had. Dr. told me that unless you are on a special formula the brands are all the same. Like coke and pepsi. They are the same (cola) but taste a little different (if at all). He also told me bj's brand is the same as the similac/enfamil but without the name brand label.

Since she is on sensitive I would try and see. You can also go back...

I wouldn't risk it either. Dd is 8 months and Dh asked If we should try to do this. It took us 6 formulas to get it right so there's no way!!! Lol
