Mind of his own already!!! update#3
Nicholas Peter was born last night May 22 @ 10:25pm via csecion... My due date was May 29th and I had a scheduled csection planned for May 28th. well, Nicholas decided he liked his original due date better and came!! It's a very important day too... it's my grandfather's birthday, my parents wedding anniversary, DH's great grandmother's birthday, and a friend's son's birthday!!!! I'm exhausted but I'll update tomorrow with pictures s and more info!!!
Update #1:.The covering pediatrician just came in to tell me Nicholas was being transfered to the NICU... he had line green spit up so they need to do an stay to rule out malrotation of the gut. If he spits up green again he had to be transferred to Winthrop for a MRI with contrast. he may need surgery... but then again it could be nothing... so here is hoping!!! please spare us some prayers that everything is normal!!!
UPDATE#2. Nicholas was sent to Winthrop NICU. I'm stuck in south Nassau, which is so not fun being a first time mom. DH went to Winthrop with Nicholas and I'd keeping an eye on things there...so far it looks like nothing but the are going to monitor him until whatever infection is gone... so I'm hoping to get out of here asap.... what a crazy 24 hours!!!
Update #3: Nicholas is doing great, all of his tests came back normal and they think it's just a minor infection. They are stopping his antibiotics tonight... Unfortunately he is still add stubborn now add he was inside. He still won't ready... they gave him formula today but he barely ate any...DH delivered my colostrum so hopefully he will take some of that tonight. he has a 3pm&6pm feeding scheduled. I'm waiting till 4 to call and see how he did... DH is going to be there for the 6pm feeding, they like a patent to do as much of them as possible. which brings us to me....I was told I could leave whenever I feel comfortable, the mommy in me wanted to leave at 9am when the doctor told me that, but DH vetoed that decision... the rational part of me agreed I'm in to much pain to go home now.... so I'm being discharge in the am, and Winthrop wants me in the NICU as soon as possible tomorrow to nurse Nicholas. If he starts eating we can take him home tomorrow!!!

bumped for update....
