Induced...
Im going to be induced tomorrow morning at Winthrop at 7am. Does anyone know where we park? Is it still the emergency area?
Also, when you are induced when do they give you the epi? I forgot to ask that.

I don't have any answers for you but I wanted to say GOOD LUCK!!! So exciting that your LO will be here soon!
As for the epi, my SIL was induced and she got the epi at 3cm, when she was in a lot of pain but they wouldn't give it to her earlier. She delivered at LIJ though.

I was induced and they kept asking when I wanted the epi. I think I was about 4cm when I finally gave up trying to fight the pain. It was about 4 hours after starting pitocin.

I believe DH parked next to the emergency entrance and just told the security guard I was giving birth.. as far as the epi, they would not give me mine until i was at least 4 cm, which stunk, because i was in so much pain and progressing very slowly!! Good luck!!

I came last night to be induced and we just told them I was going to labor and delivery and they let us park in emergency parking. As far as the epi goes I am not sure. I am progressing so slow.

I think I was only 3 cm when I got the epi when I was induced with DD1.

i was 6 or 7 cm dl when i had the epi. i was asking for it earlier but couldnt get them until 6 or 7

Just wanted to update everyone on my sister. Her DH sent me a text at 10:30am she was 3cm and 90% effaced and was about to get the EPI!
