We have carrera marble. Love the look, but I worry about it a lot. DH is banned from using irish spring or any colored soap because it stains easily. But so far so good. We give it a good rub down once a week with a natural stone cleaner and it looks great. Just have to be careful about the colored soaps.
In our kitchen, though, we have caesarstone and love it. I imagine it would be great in the BR too! GL!

We have carrera marble tops in two of our three bathrooms. 1 is polished and our master is honed.
Our third bath has a very tiny vanity with a built in sink/top

I think it depends- we went with marble because of the more uniform nature of the color that we were looking for
We happen to have neutral tiles but they have a bit of a textured look. Originally we were going to get granite but felt that even a 'quiey' granite looked too busy
