Househunting Woes

So our second short sale fell through, as the owner didn't keep oil in the tank and the pipes bursted. There was literally an inch of water on both floors of the house!!!

(The first one we walked away from, after the inspection showed almost 25,000 in repairs in the first 2 years, with A LOT of items that would need constant maintnance.)

Now we found another house we really like, but the taxes put it at the TIPPY TOP of our budget, and that's with the seller coming down about 8,000.

I have come to learn that I hate house hunting. Finding something that is fairly priced, and has our non-negotiables is difficult!!!!

Just venting as I hope we find something soon.

Good luck! I know you will find something. Look at it this way, through all the missteps you have figured out more of what you want. This way when "your" house comes on the market you won't have to think twice before making an offer, you already know what's out there (or not out there).
