local adoption agencies?
I know there's an adoption board, but it doesn't get many views it seems and this is a time sensitive issue.
I know a family with a teenage daughter who has been concealing her pregnancy, she's fairly far along and has decided she wants to put the baby up for adoption (the parents aren't really able to care for the baby either). Does anyone know of any local places to contact to start the adoption process? I found a website called Birthright.org in Floral Park, so they'll start there, but with probably only a month until she gives birth, time is rather limited.

I would at least post on the adoption board. ive seen posts there from couples who are searching.

Thank you, will do! I found one site that is promising and I'll pass it on, Spence Chapin Agency, in NYC and Long Island.

would she work with an attorney? NY Laws are really strict. see adoption board..for info
