I just got a notice in the mail to schedule an upgrade of my homes water meter. Can anyone tells me what this involves? Thanks

Water District Meter upgrade project
About 10 mins. They come in and switch out the meter.

They are pretty accommodating and patient as well. We got our first notice 6 months ago and DH just set up for them to come and switch it out last week.
