Fort Salonga area?

we put an offer on a house there but i known little about the area. I just know the area and school districts are good. It would be Fort Salonga Elementary school. Anyone have any insight about the area?? shopping, schools, activities, etc.?

Fort Salonga area?

It's a very lovely area; close to the beach (Sunken Meadow/Crab Meadow), there's shopping and dining right on 25A, Jericho Turnpike as well as in the Village of Northport and Kings Park.

Love Fort Salonga. Such a beautiful area. If it weren't so far from the trains, I would move there in an instant. I have a friend who has a child in Kings Park at the high school level and has been very happy with it.

I am a product the the Kings Park SD, feel free to FM anytime! I attended Ft. Salonga Elementary School, and I work in the school system now.

It is a very tight knit, small community. It's a running joke that if you're from Kings Park, you either know someone or are related to someone who works in the school district. Many people that grow up in KP, really don't leave/stray far.
