Florida teen gives judge the finger
Way to go judge!
Penelope Soto, a Florida teen, was caught on videotape giving the middle finger to Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Jorge Rodriguez-Chomat.
Soto, 18, was arrested on drug possession charges and showed up at her hearing evidently with an attitude that displeased the judge.
According to NBC Miami, Judge Rodriguez-Chomat wanted to know about Soto’s financial assets before doling out a penalty.
Soto said that she had a car and “a lot” of jewelry. When the judge tried to get her to clarify her statement, Soto responded that it was “like Rick Ross. It’s worth a lot of money.”
“It’s not a joke, you know, we’re not in a club now. We are not in a club, be serious about it,” the judge responded.
While the Miami teen could have walked away from her hearing with her bond set at $5,000, she decided to give a the judge a sarcastic sendoff by saying “adios.”
As she walked away from the window, the judge called Soto back and then raised her bond to $10,000.
"Are you serious?" the teen asked.
"I am serious. 'Adios,'" the judge responded.
Soto proceeded to give the judge the finger and told him to “f**k himself,” at which point he quickly upped her punishment to 30 days in prison.
As is procedure with the Miami-Dade Circuit court, all hearings are videotaped for state records.

What an assshole. I know it takes all kinds, but really? Really? This is how you want to live your life? Maybe a few nights with Big Bessie in jail will make her rethink her attitude.

Unbelievable! Standing in front of a judge and still showing no respect.
I had to do it once. For someone else. And I almost had a panic attack!

I like how she stopped giggling when he upped the bail to ten grand and then really got serious when he told her she was now spending 30 days in county jail.
Sucks for her!!!!

I think it's amazing. Maybe more judges should be like this. Maybe we wouldn't have the little shits out if the street that are there now. Bravo!

Love what the judge did!! She reminded me of a contestant on the price is right all giggly and having a ball. I hope no one posts for her and she has to spend the whole 30 days in jail. Maybe she'll learn that not everything is a joke.

I can't see video at work but if she stopped giggling and got angry at the upping of her bail??? I bet she was thinking "who does he think he is?" like kind of self righteous wench. About time someone in her life FORCES her to deal with real consquences in direct relation to her horrible behavior. Frankly I hope she gets a fine on top of her jail stint. Someone needs to make her accountable.

Unfortunately this attitude is a trend with many adolescents and even some adults! When will this wave of high and mighty entitlement end? I hope she and others learn a lesson from this!

Unfortunately I doubt she'll learn anything. She obviously has no respect for authority at all. Even at the end of the video after the judge sentences her to jail time she says "that's fine" as if it's no big deal. Almost like "whatever". She can't keep her mouth shut! She's a total moron!
