day care cost

I don't understand how Tutor Time in holbrook and ronkonkoma have such a large difference in pricing. Of course the one I like better is more expensive... unfortunately too expensive.

Each center is indiviually owned. THe programs can vary and I'm sure the operating costs vary by location.

Re: day care cost

i think they also price based on competition in the area. the more expensive one might be priced similarly to others close by.

Re: day care cost

It's weird because I live in Holbrook but I'm much closer to the Ronkonkoma center. Now that I'm thinking about it I think the Holbrook provides food including formula so that could also be a factor.

They do - they provide formula and then baby cereal, baby fruit, baby veges and whole milk

Then after that they provide all meals to toddlers- breakfast, lunch, 2 snacks a day, and milk

I cannot say enough about the teachers and staff in this center. to me, it is worth every single penny!

We also use Tutor Time in Holbrook and the infant teachers are amazing!!! Best decision I ever made (thanks NervousNell :) )

I just wanted to point out though that just last week they are no longer providing the food and formula in the infant room. My DS is on Rx formula and I bring my own food, but just wanted you to know.

Good luck!!

Really? They just gave my DD some squash on Thursday. They didn't say anything about that. I bring my own formula though.

Are the prices still the same? Because it was an $80 difference between the holbrook and ronkonkoma. I live in holbrook but ronkonkoma is closer and on the way for DH to work.

Re: day care cost

I use Tutor Time in Commack and they charge $335. They provide food but not formula or "baby food" just regular stuff. What do they charge?
