Best place to get a fake tree
Being that we just moved into our house the perfect place for our tree is in front of our living room windows, heater is under those windows so for me it's a no go on a real tree.
So I finally convinced DH to get a fake tree....now where to get one?? (We've both always had real)

If Fortunoff xmas store is open, I would go there. Thats where i got mine years ago.

Thats where we got ours too (we got it the year before we were married so its over 8 yrs now) but I did hear the Fortunoff's Xmas store is not the same anymore.

I got ours at Walmart on a spur of the moment shopping excursion (basicly decided our 6 ft xmas tree looked silly and sick with our 9 ft ceilings and went on a mission to find a taller tree thanksgiving weekend). Oddly there was no line , and it was a nice 7.5 ft pre-lit tree for under $100.

I also wanted to say we want a 6 1/2 foot tree and we really don't want to spend any more than $250 or $300 max.

We went to Harrows and were so turned off by their prices.....the store we went to had NOTHING under $400.
We ended up getting our from Home Depot. It looks so real and was under $250

Thanks for recommendation of Hicks but we love way out east so furthest I want to go is Smithhaven mall. Had anyone had luck going the day after Christmas??!

We got ours at Home Depot on black fri a few yrs ago. Its prelit and looks pretty full and real. (minus the smell)

Best place to get a fake tree
Lowe's, and it was probably $150 or less for 7.5 feet. I don't remember, but they have nice trees.
