Briefly, but the lights flickered.... the wind is only starting to ramp up...

Our power went out and came back once already. About 30 minutes without power...this time.

My lights flickered....
We still haven't gotten power back from the first storm, so I guess there's no hope of that happening today.

Our Lights are flickering. I will loose it!
DH has to stay home tomorrow so I can finally return to work but if we dont have power he cant work from home, I cant go to work...we cant even get back on our feet from Sandy yet...please!!!

Ours too, in Huntington. I don't understand why, it's not even that windy. Under normal circumstances this weather wouldn't have made them flicker.
Does flickering mean an outage is imminent?

Someone for LIPA was on the radio this morning. He said that because of the need to get customers up and running again, many quick fixes were done with the intention of securing later. He cautioned that they are anticipating power outages again with this storm.

Ours have been too. Thinking I will probably lose since many neighbors still out and DD"s school 3 blocks away is out and will be for a while.

My Mom lost power in Medford and I have power(am in Medford too) but no phones. I keep getting a busy signal when I try to call home.
